Use this calculator first to estimate the number of bottles you will need and total cost based on your cat’s current weight and anticipated weight gain per month during treatment. One pound per month is a reasonable estimate. Make sure you are consistent with your weight units: start weight and weight gain are in the same units. You can input numbers as pounds or kg but make sure you click the correct radio button for your weight units. This is still just an estimate. You should plan on getting a few extra bottles.
Now use this calculator to determine the GS dose based on your cat’s current weight, desired dose rate, and product concentration
You can use the more general calculator below to estimate the number of bottles still required during the course of the treatment. Just enter the current weight, the number of days left and the number of bottles you have on hand. It can also handle different size bottles and concentrations. The Shire numbers are default.
